Using DeSoto’s Database of Public Records Online
To view current or past City Council or Planning and Zoning agendas, minutes, ordinances, resolutions, or other public documents, go to the DeSoto database. You will see a list of folders on the left, and you can browse to the appropriate one for the information you are seeking.

Laserfiche documents are scanned to an image format which can be indexed and searched on-line. Printing these documents requires that the pages be converted to PDF format. Click on the PDF icon on the page navigation bar above the document to start the process.
Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free, downloadable program) is required to print the documents. Please upgrade to the latest version of Adobe for best performance.
Pop-Up Blockers:
In order to fully utilize the Laserfiche database pop-up blockers must be disabled in all browsers.
Viewing Database Documents
Inside each folder is a list of other folders. The documents are generally listed by date. If you cannot find what you are looking for, the database has a powerful search feature located at the top of the page.
If the document seems fuzzy or hard to read, the tools at the top of the document page includes a "zoom+" option. This option is helpful when viewing tables with small numbers.
